One of the greatest English architects, Sir John Soane, developed a close friendship with star soprano Nancy Storace, the English prodigy who inspired one of Mozart's greatest operatic characters. How did this chance meeting turn into a lifelong family connection? In this performance Lewis Gaston (Conductor) and the Soloists of Opera Prelude explore the life and music of Nancy in a narrated concert including works by composers Nancy knew and worked with, including: Paisiello, Salieri, Sarti and Mozart. Two 45 minute Acts, either side of an interval.

Parking available in a field one minute’s walk away – flat shoes advised!
